Literary critic and essayist, literary historian, linguist and teacher, Óscar Lopes (1917-2013) was a notable intellectual who also focused on political and civil activities.In the year of the centenary of his birth, the Faculty of Letters of the University of Porto organised a number of commemorative activities.
A vast document archive, formal linguistic schemes and notes written in margins in Óscar Lopes' own hand, were the basis for designing the identity.The carmine of the camellias that óscar Lopes grew in his garden, and which he often gave to friends and colleagues, charmed us, and eventually became the predominant colour of the various promotional materials.
